The Twenty Somethings...

Living in your 20's yo, ain't that some shit

Half the time your living, the other half you want to quit.

Not in a dramatic way, you just lose your drive

It sucks a lot of energy just trying to survive.

All those apps don't help

Make me feel worse about myself.

See us as humans we compare our lives to others

But no two people are the same, not even twin brothers.

Some friends stuck in college obtaining loads of debt

Others worked their way up the ladder and collect a decent check.

Some reckless with their money and trick off on nice cars

Others developing serious addictions by hanging out at bars.

Some will be quick to flex as if they got a bag

Till you look up the pyramid, homie that's a red flag.

Some are out there exploring countries, islands and living like rockstars

Others I know have done hard time behind bars.

Got to learn to establish a thing called credit

Save up money and be careful how you spend it.

Don't be a fool and wrap your tool, you ain't ready to be a father

But your homie has two kids already and he seems unbothered.

Some chase careers and six figures but won't put in the work

Others are hustling every day but still live in the dirt.

Should I keep my options open or settle down?

Should I work locally or ditch this town?

Do I help out my family or take care of me?

Do I donate to this cause or donate to my dream?

You see, we got a lot of baggage once we hit twenty

Depression, anxiety, stress, oh you'll see plenty.

Will you make it out happy? Only time will tell

Just know, we've all been through our own hell.
